User Account Deletion Instructions
1. Sign in
User lands on Sign in screen. There is an “Understand” informational overlay/screen explaining the steps. User acknowledges and proceeds to enter their phone number.
2. Enter Phone Number
User inputs their phone number. On submit, an OTP is sent to that number.
3. OTP Confirmation
User enters the one-time password (OTP) received via SMS. Upon successful verification, the user is authenticated and navigated to their profile.
4. Navigate to Profile to Delete Account
From the profile screen, user selects “Delete My Account” option.
5. Select Reason
A prompt appears asking for a reason for deletion. User selects one from a list of predefined reasons.
6. Confirmation Typing
User is asked to type the word delete to confirm their intent.
7. Final Deletion
After typing “delete” and submitting, the account is removed. A final screen confirms successful deletion.
